Frequently Asked Questions
1 Baby Seats / Boosters – Unfortunately there is no way for guests to bring or install car seats, as there are literally no anchor points. Legally our 20-seat buses are defined as ‘omnibuses’ which are any ‘real’ buses defined as above 13 seats. As such, like a public transport passenger bus or tram, children under 5 would have to ride on their parents at their own risk, and TrailHopper is not legally liable for any child passenger under 16 years old.
2 Prams, Strollers & Luggage – Unfortunately we have no storage space for large items such as prams. Also, due to health and safety regulations, our aisles are officially designated as ‘Emergency Exits’, so unless it is an umbrella pram or item that can fold up be stored under the guests’ own seat then we cannot accept prams onboard.
3 In terms of child fares, children aged 5 or older are charged at the full seat rate. Children under 5 that can ride on their parents laps may travel free of charge.

Trail hopper McLaren Vale was an amazing day trip! Our guide/driver Michael made the trip not only informative, but super fun! He had great recommendations and called through to wineries… read more we hadn’t booked in advance. The trip was seamless. The only thing we found difficult was not enough time at each winery. Partly due to staff shortages (which is understandable in the current climate) and partly because we loved some wineries we didn’t want to leave.
Trail hopper is comfortable, they keep your purchases safe along the way and complimentary water was a great touch.
Highly recommend!
