TrailHopper's Golden Rules
In anticipation of your upcoming tour, we want to emphasise our ‘Golden Rules’ to help you get the most out of your day. Please read these carefully, and if you’re organising on behalf of a group, make sure everyone sees them.
Golden Rule #1
Alcohol Safety / Duty of Care
Our tours include wine tastings, so we encourage all passengers to enjoy responsibly. To make your day safe and enjoyable, here’s what you need to know:
Not a 'Booze Cruise'
Our bus is not licensed. This is a leisurely day out among beautiful wine regions, so please act respectfully.
Sign the Agreement
All passengers must read and sign our Duty of Care Agreement prior to boarding. View Agreement Here
Food
We strongly recommend including food or a meal stop in your plans to help you stay comfortable and enjoy your day.
Golden Rule #2
Bookings at Venues
Many wineries now operate with seated tastings and limited capacity:
Essential or Recommended
Some venues require bookings for TrailHopper guests.
Check Your Info Pack
Your tour’s Information Pack includes details on 'Tasting Fees' and 'Food Options', and which venues require bookings (Pages 3-4).
Reservations Ensure Smooth Visits – Pre-booking ensures your group enjoys a seamless experience.
Golden Rule #3
How to Read Your Timetable
Our timetables are flexible but can be a little tricky at first:
Maximum Stops
Potential: 4 × 1-hour stops. If taking a 2-hour lunch, total stops = 3.
Large Groups (7+)
Format: 2 pre-booked tastings (1 hr each) + 1 pre-booked long lunch (2 hrs) = 3 stops.
Follow Top Down
To maximise stops, follow the timetable top down, not bottom up.
Final Pickup Times
The last column of times on your timetable indicates the final pickup time at each venue.
